I’m honestly not quite sure what to call it though. I’ve heard quite a few reporters refer to it as the “Teens,” which sounds rather trite to me. However, the second decade of the 21st Century does sound rather official. I’m sure we’ll figure out something to call it that doesn’t sound quite so silly. I mean, we have 10 whole years to think of a better name.

I should take the time to welcome you to the new I Love Wednesdays. It’s going through a bit of a revamp (the umpteenth one in it’s relatively young existence). I sometimes think that as designers we’re unfortunately afflicted with an inability to let our designs go, especially when they’re for ourselves, and I don’t think that I’m any different. But I Love Wednesdays, for me, is an evolutionary process, and I hope you’ll bear with me as I make the final adjustments for the new year. While I’m extremely excited about the year ahead, I took a little time to reflect on the year that was. It was certainly a much bigger year than I thought it would be, and I got to photograph some incredibly people, fashion and events.
